Satellite Conference on "Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence Theory and Applications" of International Congress of Basic Science

Global science and technology innovation has entered an unprecedented period of intensive activity, and the flow of innovation resources is accelerating worldwide. To build a platform for the exchange of top international scientists, the first International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) will be held in Beijing in July 2023. The ICBS is an academic event that brings together scientists around the world to discuss current significant development and explore the future trend in Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, and Information Science and Technology. The ICBS is initiated by Professor Shing-Tung Yau, and jointly hosted by the Beijing government and the China Association for Science and Technology. It is expected that about 1000 participants will attend ICBS2023, and distinguished lectures will be presented at the forum.

As an important session of the ICBS, the satellite conference -- Chinese-style Economic Modernization Forum: Low Carbon, Efficiency, Inclusiveness, Growth on "Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence Theory and Applications" will be held at the Zhongguancun Campus of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in a combination of offline and online sessions on July 19, 2023. The satellite conference is hosted by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). 

I. Conference Theme: Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence Theory and Applications

The conference will invite top scientists and renowned scholars from domestic and international to lead lectures to discuss scientific issues such as digital economy theory, fundamental theory of artificial intelligence, AIGC large model technology and application, complex data analysis and application, promote the cross-fertilization of artificial intelligence and economic management disciplines, and enhance the efficiency of original innovation in related fields.

We welcome you to attend this satellite meeting of the New Economy Forum and International Basic Science Conference, to communicate with conference guests, and to jointly promote greater breakthroughs in the basic science of digital economy and artificial intelligence.

The conference will invite Lei GUO, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Xiaojuan JIANG, Professor of University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Former Deputy Secretary General of the State Council; Dennis LIN, Distinguished Chair Professor and Chair of the Department of Statistics at Purdue University; Ying FAN, Dean of School of Economics and Management, Beihang University; Wei ZHANG, Distinguished Chair Professor of Tianjin University; Yongmiao HONG, Dean of School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Dajun ZENG, Vice President of the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Suzi Kerr, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at the Environmental Defense Fund, and other well-known scholars from home and abroad will make presentations.
